A Different Kind of Hyperbaric Experience
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy can feel clinical or intimidating at first. At Wild Heart, the experience is designed to feel calm, thoughtful and personal.
Every client begins with an assessment to review suitability, health history and goals before treatment begins. From there, the focus is on safety, clear communication and helping you understand what to expect at every step.
What Is Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy?
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, or HBOT, involves breathing 100% oxygen inside a pressurized chamber.
Under increased pressure, the body is able to carry more dissolved oxygen in the bloodstream than it can under normal conditions. This increased oxygen availability can support the body’s natural healing processes and is used in a range of medical and recovery settings.
Why Is Oxygen So Important?
Oxygen is essential to how the body functions, adapts and repairs.
Inside a hyperbaric chamber, oxygen is delivered under increased pressure, allowing more of it to dissolve into the bloodstream and circulate throughout the body, including areas where normal blood flow may be limited.
Because of this, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy is often explored as a supportive therapy for healing and recovery, including tissue repair, circulation, inflammation, neurological support, recovery following blood loss or anemia, and other restorative processes.
Why People Explore Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
HBOT is used and explored in a range of medical and recovery settings because increased oxygen availability can support the body’s natural repair processes.
Tissue Repair & Healing
Supporting oxygen delivery to tissues may be helpful in certain healing and recovery contexts.
Circulation & Oxygen Delivery
HBOT increases dissolved oxygen in the bloodstream, helping oxygen reach areas where circulation may be compromised.
Neurological Support
HBOT is explored in some neurological and post-injury settings where oxygen delivery and recovery are part of the clinical picture.
Recovery & Inflammation
Some clients explore HBOT as part of a broader recovery plan following injury, treatment, surgery, or other physical stress.
Suitability varies by individual. All HBOT clients begin with an assessment before treatment is recommended.
